In August, my husband and I had the opportunity to spend a few days at Forest Hills Club in Saranac, Michigan, just east of Grand Rapids.  Upon arriving we were quickly checked in and directed to our camp site, which was nicely wooded and accommodated our 30-foot travel trailer nicely.

Forest Hills Club is a clothing optional campground, and since the weather was a bit cool that week, there was a mix of both clothed and nude people everywhere.  Before we even finished setting up our campsite, several members approached and welcomed us.  Word got out that an “AANR official” was there so they graciously planned an impromptu welcome pitch in dinner and drinks for that evening in their clubhouse.  I had never felt so welcomed!  The evening was spent being introduced to many of their members who were some of the friendliest people I encountered all summer.

Despite the coolness and a bit of rain, we had time to enjoy the very nice salt-water swimming pool and the hot tub.  We were also invited to several small events hosted throughout the camp, such as a mead tasting that my husband enjoyed quite a bit.

Forest Hills Club is a great family-friendly campground to visit, and I welcome all our members to do so.  For more information about them, their website can be found at https://foresthillsclub.com/.

Thank you, Forest Hills Club, for making my first visit as your President a complete success!
